Q: What is a Flugnod, anyway?
A: A Flugnod is a pile of molten thermoplastic extrudate. It is a little-used plastics industry term for the waste plastic which is generated by "purging" plastic injection-molding or extruding machinery. In essence, this is what many of my pieces are.
Q: How do you make your pieces?
A: Currently, I use time allotted to me by my present employer on our production equipment. Hopefully soon I can acquire my own extruder, which will increase both my design freedom and overall capabilities ten-fold.
